Asking a few questions about how long the company has been in business, what type of insurance they have, and if they have all required licenses will give you a pretty good idea of the quality of business you are dealing with, check if the company you are dealing with has licenses and permits for all the areas you will be visiting.

Do they have what you are looking for?
It is your big event; make sure that you get exactly what you are looking for. Today limos come in every shape, size, and color. If you are looking for a stretch Hummer for 20 and one company doesn’t have it, don’t settle there are a ton of limo companies out there. Also, make sure that before you sign a contract you view the car that you will be renting. Photos can be deceiving, especially because some companies use photos provided by the manufacturer when advertising their cards. Only a viewing of the actual car will allow you to see that it is on par with what you are looking for.

What do past clients say?
When choosing a limo company make sure to ask for several references. This will give you a good idea of what type of evening the limo company will provide for you. If they have made clients happy in the past, then there is a good chance they will do the same for your special event.

Does the vehicle have all the amenities that you are looking for?
Just because you think that a TV and mini bar are standard for a limo does not mean that every limo company does. Inquire about details such as a TV and DVD player and whether or not champagne and alcohol is included. And don’t forget to ask about where climate control, radio or CD player control, and control of the passenger divider is located.

Is the gratuity included in the price?
Limo companies have varying policies about gratuity. Some include it in the price and ask that you do not tip the driver during the trip, others will leave gratuity to your discretion. Either way, you want to ensure that your driver is tipped at least $5 per passenger, however exceptional service warrants more.

What will your driver be wearing?
This is especially important to ask if your event is very formal or themed. Drivers can be dressed in any range of uniforms so make sue that you verify with the company. A well-dressed driver adds to the experience of a perfect limo ride.
